RULING YOUR WORLD

                                                              RULING YOUR WORLD
a recipe for impactful living by: David Oyedepo

When a book blesses you, you will like to read it all over. I read Ruling your World by David Oyedepo for the second time and it still bless my life the way it did when I first read it. When I picked Ruling your World to read new strength came into me, I felt higher than my challenges.

"Until something changes within you, nothing changes around you. Every change begins from within. Without a change within, there can never be a change without."
"It’s important to note that things will only change for the worse, if left only with time."
"Waiting for a change without doing anything makes no sense; it’s the application of relevant forces that guarantees a change for the better. That is, knowing what to do and doing it committedly and correctly."
"Discipline in my view can be defined as doing what is required to get at what is desired. It is doing what is demanded not what is convenient."
"It is only changed men that become world changers."
"Nothing is more valuable than insight in the Journey of life. If you leave your life to chance, you don’t have a chance."
"To be informed is to be transformed, and to be uninformed is to be deformed."
"Being informed is not just knowing something, it is possessing a working knowledge of that thing. There are many things you know, but you don’t have a working knowledge of until you know how it is applied, it holds no value."
"Your speed in life is determined by the quality of information at your disposal and the level of insight with which you are operating."
"How far you can see determines how far you can go. You cannot go beyond the information at your disposal."
"I see information as the currency of destiny it determines your purchasing power in the market of life."
"Everything you are or do today is a result of the information of yesterday. The news you acquire determines the moves you generate and the moves you generate determines the waves you cause, which determines the news you make."
"You cannot be genuinely informed without making appropriate moves. You cannot make appropriate moves without generating undeniable proofs, and you cannot generate proofs without causing unquestionable waves, and you cannot cause waves without commanding attention that is making news."
Henry Ford said, “Anyone who stops learning is old, either at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young. The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young.”
"You will be the same that you are this year in five years time, except for two things – the books you read and the people with whom you walk with."
"Information will reduce your religious struggles."
"If you leave your life to chance, you don’t have a chance. Life becomes like a lottery and when life becomes a lottery, the future becomes a mockery. Don’t leave your life to chance, leave it to viable choices, and make your choices based on sound information."
"Someone has said that the largest room in the world is the room for improvement. So, go and improve on yourself through a quest for viable, resourceful, and productive information."
"You are either running with a vision, going on a mission or burning with a passion… if you do not belong to any of these, life is reduced to a burden."
"Martin Luther King Jnr. Said, if any man has no purpose for living, he is not fit to love. “Men of purpose are knowing to be men of impact.”
"We are more bothered about what we are created to be than what we are created to do. A discovery of what you are created to do is called purpose. Doing what you are created to do is what makes you become what you are created to be."
"Service is the only way to actualize your purpose and fulfill your destiny. If you are here just to consume, you may end up being consumed! True greatness is a product of genuine service."

PATHWAY TO PROSPERITY by; David Abayomi- Oyedepo

Last two weeks, I spoke about packaging as one of the basic ingredients  that can sell a book. Let me also let you know that a book without a very good content will not last in the market. It will be better to start small and improve than to start big and disappoint your reader on your first attempt. Packaging and content should work together, it’s very important not just in book publishing.

Another thing I love about some authors is when they choose a field and they infuse any topic with it. I know of John C. Maxwell, he talks and write on Leadership. If he will write on courtship, he will infuse leadership into it and it will make sense. There are things we are all called to be special at, you will notice it when you talk, write or do any other thing.

We all need to stand out to be seen and that is what I love about David Abayomi-Oyedepo, the author of ‘PATHWAY TO PROSPERITY’. I don’t need to be told who he is, reading the book shows a man that has a burning passion for the gospel.  Too much of understanding will never kill you, it will only make you a better prepared person when you face challenges.

David Abayomi-Oyedepo explained what PROSPERITY means again in a new light, I believe he is gifted on that topic. You will know if an author is gifted because understanding comes to you while reading his book. There is this beam of light I receive while reading his book; I understand that money is not prosperity, why it’s not and also the purpose of it. Knowing the purpose of prosperity makes me know that I can never live in poverty. It’s an assurance that will come into you while reading the book that you can never be poor, it will change your thinking first and the words will start pushing you to take action.

Money is one out of several things that can make you prosperous, have money does not mean you are prosperous. I understand that not having money does not mean not prosperous. I also discover how I can live and grow in prosperity. Reading this book ‘PATHWAY TO PROSPERITY’ is one of the best things that happened to me within the past two weeks.

The packaging and content of this book is okay, the editor did a wonderful job. The book is very affordable and it’s also available for 400 Naira and International mailing16 Dollars.  authors number +2347035147131, +2348058286107.

MY BEST- J.K. ROWLING…..

After her successful Harry Potter series J.K. Rowling the author of the book is out with another bust buster novel which is her first novel for adults titled ‘The Casual Vacancy’, a drama based on a council election in a small English town.

The novel is set in the small, idyllic town of Pagford and follows the trials and tribulations of the town's residents after parish councilor Barry Fair-weather dies unexpectedly and an election is called and the empty seat left by Barry on the parish council soon becomes the catalyst for the biggest war the town has yet seen.

The question of who will triumph in an election fraught with passion, duplicity and unexpected revelations is what the novel which will be on different book sheaf by September this year will uncover.

Rowling British novelist, the 46 years old mother of three said although she had enjoyed writing in every bit but her next book will be very different from the Harry Potter series. She also added that Harry Potter which sold 400 million copies and which is the bestselling book series in history has given her the freedom to explore new territory.
